We have invested heavily in people, training, safety and safeguarding across the entire Castles family. We believe our policies, especially for working in the education sector and alongside those more vulnerable are class leading.
Safety
We are very protective of our impeccable safety record and of the measures we have taken to ensure we have a class leading Safety provision ingrained across our organisation. Safety is at the core of everything we do both on and off site. We have never been served with enforcement action of any kind by the Health & Safety Executive.

SAFEGUARDING
Over 60% of our business is dedicated to working in and with schools of all types and settings. In adopting the Safer Recruitment Organisations training and recommendations we strive to create a culture of safeguarding vigilance across all of our business activities, construction sites and throughout our school supply chain.
DBS UPDATE SERVICE
All of our site operatives and suppliers subscribe to the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Update Service. This ensures that our customers can check DBS status at any time and be assured that it is always up to date.

In accordance with our Safety, Health, Environment and Quality systems we make our policy statements available publicly to anyone who wishes to see them.
